Once a manuscript meets the publication standards, it is sent to a panel of two or more experts for further evaluation. It is optional, but encouraged, that the contributor list the names of two or three competent reviewers with relevant expertise when submitting the work. There should be no conflict of interest between the reviewers and the contributing institution(s). But it's entirely up to the editor to decide who these reviewers are. Reviewers and authors participate in the journal's double-blind review process in complete secrecy. Additionally, a member of the editorial staff is assigned each manuscript; after reviewing the feedback, this person makes a final judgement. The corresponding author receives the feedback and suggestions (approval, rejection, or article revisions) from reviewers. Please provide a revised version of the work together with a detailed response to the reviewers' comments if requested. The procedure is carried out until the editors and reviewers are content with the final manuscript.
Plagiarism Policy:
Plagiarism will be evaluated by Probecell Science based on its limit. The editorial board member, reviewer, editor, etc. find plagiarism at any point in the article's process, including but not limited to the acceptance, editing, or page proofing stages. We will notify the authors and request that they either modify the content or provide proper citations for any third party content. Papers are rejected and authors are contacted when plagiarism is found to be higher than 20%.
- Authorship of the paper: Only individuals who significantly contributed to the study's idea, design, execution, or interpretation should be named as authors. Authors are urged to be transparent about their contributions, for instance by submitting a CRediT author statement.
- Originality and plagiarism: Authors should check that their works are totally unique and that they have properly cited or quoted any sources that they have used.
- Data access and retention: Authors should be ready to make their raw data publicly available if requested to do so in the course of an editorial review of a publication.
- Multiple, redundant or concurrent publication: It is generally not advisable for an author to publish submissions that describe the same research in multiple journals or original publications. The utilisation of a work in the form of an abstract, publication as an academic thesis, or publication as an electronic preprint is not considered as prior publication. It should be noted that certain titles and journals held by societies, which employ a double-blind review process, may have varying standards regarding earlier publishing.
- Acknowledgement of sources: It is imperative to always provide appropriate recognition for the efforts of others.
- Disclosure and conflicts of interest: Disclosure of all relationships that may give rise to a potential conflict of interest is required for all submissions.
- Fundamental errors in published works: Authors have a responsibility to inform the journal editor or publisher as soon as they become aware of a major mistake or inaccurate statement in their published work. They should also work together with the editor to either retract or revise the manuscript.
- Reporting standards: Reports on original research should provide an accurate account of the work done and a fair assessment of its significance.
- Hazards and human or animal subjects: The submission of compliance statements is mandatory in cases where the work entails the utilisation of substances, methods, or equipment that possess any unusual hazards inherent in their application, or when the job involves the utilisation of animal or human subjects.
- Use of patient images or case details: Research involving patients or volunteers necessitates the permission of an ethics committee and the inclusion of informed consent, which must be duly recorded in the research publication.
General Instructions
The submission of papers should be accompanied by the acknowledgment that they have not been previously published, except in the form of an abstract or thesis, and are not presently being reviewed by any other academic publication. The responsibility of guaranteeing the approval of the article's publication by all co-authors lies with the Corresponding author. The obligation for ensuring that articles originating from a specific institution are submitted with the approval of the relevant institution and other relevant parties lies with the writers. It is highly recommended to submit manuscripts electronically, as long as the text, tables, and figures/plates are consolidated into a single Microsoft Word file. Additional communication and evidence will be forwarded to the corresponding author prior to publication, unless stated differently. Prior to submitting a manuscript, the authors must grant permission for the paper to be edited in order to enhance its readability. The act of adding or removing the names of authors will not be allowed once the proofs have been prepared. Please direct all inquiries regarding the publication of submitted/accepted articles to the editor via email.
